"The impulse to paint defies explanation. Why not ask why does one live? Why are we here? Being a painter is simply a way for me to express what is inside. I respond strongly to color. Something happens on the inside while I am painting. To say it is colorful energy moving through me, coming out my fingertips, seen with my eyes and felt with my heart, that lands where it does and brings happiness along the way is enough. I'd really like to leave it at that. I agree with the artists who have gone before and have chosen to let what they have created speak for itself."

I have been offering my work to the public via the web since the early 2000's. For those who are apprehensive about buying art on the internet--something I can empathize with--click here which will take you to my etsy feedback page.
As of 2012, paintings are available through ARTchipel.com and directly through me via this website.
